The ultrafiltration membrane needs an accurate employment and maintenance.
To maintain the membrane the midsection should always be emptied and dried in the sun after use. Otherwise the standing water would become a
perfect culture medium for microorganisms. Drying in the sun prevents this problem and destroys all remaining germs.
materials: DIN-parts out of PE, membrane out of PES
durability of the membrane: max. 1 year
connections: adequate to DIN 51 screw caps/drain plugs
costs: for the whole UltraPipe about 10€,
for the midsection with the membrane about 5€
